Home Page – (Public)
This is a public page offering a glimpse into site activity.
Add Accommodation – adding accommodation is quick and easy. Just click on the ‘Add Accommodation’ button and fill-in the details. The first line of your address will remain private until you have confirmed a Guest booking, at which time your accommodation address details will be made available to your guest.
Accommodation Find – a simple tool with customisable search options to help you find the right accommodation to suit your needs. You are able to search by location, activity, tags and even Hosts interests.
Post a Room Request – this feature enables Guests to alert Hosts of their pending accommodation needs. This tool is open to the public.
Profile Details – (Members)
Make your profile fun, interesting and honest.
This section is important as other members will want to understand who you are. Make an impression but be yourself and also consider how you will come across to a stranger.
Members ‘must’ personalise their profile here by adding personal details such as a Photo and a Biography. This is vitally important to build trust and demonstrates that you are open and honest, enabling everyone to get the most out of the site.
Add Accommodation – (Hosts)
Make your accommodation stand out from the crowd.
Give your Accommodation a name, something that makes it stand out (without being rude or exaggerating the truth) and then add other details, such as photos, description, price and address so that the combined picture reflects what a Guest will actually experience.
My Account – (Individual Member)
This is your control panel.
Overview – a snapshot of site activity that is relevant to you: Messages, Friend Requests, Booking Requests as well as Guestbook, Group and Interest activity.
Edit and Manage Content – Profile, Accommodation Details (if relevant), Friends, Favourites and Groups are all yours to manage and control.
Networking – Favourites, Groups and Friends are your first line of contact for travel inspiration!
Be Sociable – Write on peoples’ walls if you have a question, or invite your friends to join the site. Bigger is better.
Groups – (Public)
A great way to bring like-minded people together and offers exciting travel possibilities.
Start a Group – create your own Group to organise content or to enjoy your interest.
Group Profile – a description of the Group, a link to the Group administrator and also tohe ability to join the Group or add it to Favourites.
Networking – Host and Member listings, as well as the Group Wall are features that add value to joining Groups.
Find – (Public)
Simple or detail-specific searches are quick and easy
Find Accommodation – search by location, interest, price or use one of the many filter options.
Host Interests – find like-minded Hosts to plan a trip with.
Find Groups – it’s possible to search by Tags and Group Names. If you can’t find the Group you want, create it!
Search Tags - (Public)
Tags are so easy to use – just click the word you want to search
Accommodation Tags – with over 100 tags finding the right place is easy.
Search by: Activity - beach, tennis, walking… – Holiday Type – romantic, active, city break – Surroundings – mountains, forest, rural – Property Type – villa, tent, apartment – Facilities – bbq, hot tub, wifi
Interest Tags – with 66 interests listed you’re sure to find a like-minded person to stay with. What’s more, once your profile is completed your interests will automatically link to Hosts with the same interests. These matches will increase as the number of Hosts increases.
Group Tags – as above, Groups are based on Interests and we have 66 area for you to search.
